I like the love for the Michigan breweries on this list of the top 25 but there is one glaring omission. Any brewery that is included and it’s best product is a raspberry something, is automatically eliminated from my personal list, in my opinion.
Several of these are foreign to me. I know have a task.

wow!! no great lakes?! glaring!!!!
Thanks for that. I’ve only had beers from 10-15 of those breweries, and now I’ve got some searching to do. Though my personal choice is Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, I believe the Founder’s IPA was one of the best beers I’ve ever had, if not the (high price tag, unfortunately).
I will say of the brews I have tried from these various companies, I haven’t had one I didn’t like, or thought was low-quality
One thing that jumped out is Sam Adams being so high. They make one good beer and that’s about it. That’s a mainstream beer if you ask me.
Great Lakes probably should have made the cut. Maybe Grassroots is THAT BAD.
Finally, I wholeheartedly agree on the rasperry issue. I have had one or two beers where I found the fruit to accent the other ingredients the appropriate amount. Generally speaking, however, I find it to be a cop-out – a way to cover up those REAL beer ingredients that you just can’t seem to get to work with each other. I’m not sure Sierra every put out a fruity beer, and I would disagree if you said Grassroots was fruity, it was creative, it just flat out sucked.
Bingo: Great Lakes Brewery. I guess being from Cleveland, it too gets no respect.
