I visited facebook today and was confronted by three status updates from a single facebook friend. This particular person shared or liked three graphics.
1. Hit ‘Like’ if your daughter means the WORLD to you.
2. Dear God, In Your strong hands, I place my life today, choosing to depend on You to light and guide my way. (This statement was superimposed over a partly cloudy blue sky and ocean setting)
3. and this.
Find them a bit irreconcilable, but I guess that’s just me.

There is so much drivel on Facebook, it is laughable. But then, I think about how it all reflects on society and the people who are under the misimpression that they are truly part of the social fabric. It is sad, but I have reached the conclusion that the vast majority of people only think of themselves AND think they know the true meaning of what everyone else says or writes!
Completely agree. In fact I would go so far as to say the people I know on Facebook to be the most active are among the most anti-social people I know.
now that’s funny
one of these days i’m going to join facebook, but it’s just phase
