Seems to me that I may have been slightly off in my initial assessment of how the next few weeks will play out in the national election. Romney’s campaign is at the moment demonstrating a large amount of incompetence in planning and strategy. How is it that they had no plan for how to handle it when the Bain issue was brought to light. They did expect it, didn’t they?
As for the tax returns, I think people are most interested in the tax returns for that period of time when Romney wasn’t so interested in being President. How about those tax returns from ten years ago, not just a year or two ago when the run for the White House was clearly on his mind.
Could this election be over before the convention? I don’t think so, but the question has been raised.
