It’s June 6, Pause To Reflect.

Today is the 68th anniversary of the D-Day invasions.  Every time I think of this day, I am filled with awe and wonder at the sheer bravery of the Allied forces.  I think of the men, some just past boyhood, who gave their lives and limbs on those beaches for no other reason but to protect the world from tyranny.  I contemplate me in those landing crafts.  Would I?  Could I even move?  I am grateful never having to know the answer, and even more grateful to those men who do.
