It’s Opening Day!

One of the greatest days on the sports calendar is here.  The sun is out in my backyard and the weather is a bit cool, but indicates summer is on the way.

So how about some predictions?  Of course I am no expert, but I think it is fun to predict the order of finish of teams and then see if I was lucky to get any right.  It's kind of the way you purchase a Mega Millions ticket.

  1. reds vs indians would be cool, but what a pipe dream. but i’m used to pipe dreams.
i predict boston doesn’t make the playoffs, i also don’t like the braves to do much.

all i care is the tribe keeping within 20 games of crack town and i win the caaaash.

  2. That is my voodoo way of hexing the Cards. A Tigers / Reds World Series is a dream of mine.

  3. Not another world series loss to St. Louis!

This is the most likely year in many previous that the Reds and Tigers could see each other in a world series. To me that would be the greatest week in sports.

For some reason, I don’t think the Reds have what it takes this year. But I’m hopeful.
